Secretary's Report

I'm honored to have been talked into taking the position of Secretary and Webmaster for RFPA.  The sense of foreboding about the job is already starting to manifest itself.

Seriously though, I think highly of this organization and its members and supporters.  It's always nice to know you're not alone when it comes to your love for aviation and your lifestyle.

Although I'm the youngest member of RFPA, I'm by no means a stranger to the community.  I was a founding member and Secretary for the Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance www.ccgla.org and a Director for OUT TAKES Dallas film festival.  I've volunteered at a number of local events including Black Tie Dinner, Razzle Dazzle, and Pride Parade.  I'm always amazed at how much has been accomplished and how much easier it is for people in my generation to live their lives without fear of being ostracized.

I, myself am a private pilot, SEL, instrument.  I am not current, but I plan on doing it just as soon as the money comes in :-)  I do enjoy flying though and eventhough my finances and my time don't allow me to do it much, I'd always be willing to be a safety pilot for someone.  So if you're ever looking, or you just want to chat in general, or you need any membership help, please contact me: secretary@rfpatexas.com
