Dear Member Welcome to the second edition of RFPA's electronic newsletter version of "The Full Spectrum." Our RFPA website RFPATexas.com is still our primary method for distributing up-to-date information about the calendar and club events. RFPA respects your privacy and is sending this message to you because you have either requested it or have joined our club or Yahoo News Group. If you do not want to receive future issues of "The Full Spectrum" please reply to this message with the words "Unsubscribe" in the subject. Your name will be promptly removed from the distribution list. It's EPIC Gotta cool 1.2 million lying around? What about 300 hours of spare time on your hands? If you can answer yes to these two questions you could be the proud new owner of an Epic LT. The aircraft everyone is talking about. The Epic LT is part of a new generation of aircraft now being marketed to the general aviation pilot community. The folks at Epic have a simple business plan in that the first 17 aircraft produced will be build in the Experimental Category. Those that purchase the aircraft will work side-by-side with the Epic engineers in Bend, Oregon for about 300 hours to build their aircraft (and theyby satisfy the 51% rule). The company plans to take what they learn from these 17 aircraft to get their certification as a production aircraft. To read more about Epic LT... NGPA New Orleans Event (Early Call) Got to let you in on a very special event that is upcoming... NGPA is planning to go to New Orleans for Halloween! I've only been to New Orleans once during Halloween and I had a BLAST! In addition to all of the usual NGPA activities that are being planned (by me, by the way), there is also a GIGANTIC circuit party that weekend sponsored by Halloween New Orleans, Inc. Four packed days of events. NGPA is sponsoring a Welcome Cocktail Reception Friday evening, October 29th, at the host hotel followed on Saturday morning by a Continental Breakfast and Aviation Safety Program. Saturday afternoon, the NGPA members and guests are free to roam the city in search of whatever their hearts desire. There's city tours and of course, "everything" else about NOLA that captures the interest of you. Saturday night, a dinner at some Cajun Restaurant in the Quarter (still workingo on those details) followed on Sunday by Brunch. The last trip NGPA made to New Orleans was so much fun! I hope you can plan to attend. More information about this trip will be available on the NGPA website soon. But, if you're interested in knowing more now, click here... | |||
