| The morning began with low overcast. We were
late getting all of the airplanes in the air due to the weather. For DFD,
our minimums are beyond any compromise. In this picture, our instructor,
John Swaney (left) stands with three students about to embark on their
introductory flight. As in years past, the airplane complement is
established to let each student pilot have about 30 minutes behind the
controls under the supervision of the CFI. |
